Bendel is such a wonderful dog! He has been diagnosed with Patellar luxations. Medial Patellar Luxations are not uncommon in small breeds of dogs. This is a condition in which the knees caps are loose and can move in and out of their normal location. Many dogs can live with this condition with minimal problem, however it can predispose the dog to arthritis. Many dogs can live well with this condition and may "skip" or hold up 1 of their hind legs as they walk or run.
