Meet Bing, 24 months old Chinese Crested
From Bing's foster mom: "Bing is a very submissive, sweet boy guessed to be around 1yr old. He loves playing with our 8 mnth old Chihuahua/dachshund puppy. He uses a doggy door at our house and is house/crate trained. My nine year old daughter says he likes to be carried around "like a toddler"! He has never snapped or growled at any of us or my other dogs. I have five of my own dogs and he is fine w them. Now for his back story....Bing was dumped at a shelter where I volunteer. They said that he was too frightened and didn't "show well". The shelter was full and he was on the verge of being euthanized. :( He stood in the corner of his cage for five days shivering and wouldn't move. I finally went in and offered him cheese and sat down with him. It was obvious that he had been severely neglected with little to no socialization. We decided he was adoptable and brought him home. At 1st, he had some "submissive wetting" but that is much better now. He has really blossomed and he is looking so much better now that he is on quality dog food. Bing really just wants to please you and will seek you for attention. Bing is still shy when meeting new people so he will need continued work with socialization. He loves his crate and like to hang out in there to eat his food. He also steals my socks and dryer sheet and keeps them in his crate! He may not win any fancy dog shows but he is definitely a character and very wonderful!"
