Hello out there --- anybody looking for a friendly dog like me? My name is Della and I am a 9 yr old Maltese girl on a quest to find my very own forever home! I weigh just 10 lbs but it's 10 lbs of sweetness. I am a loving girl just waiting for someone like you to snuggle and cuddle with. I will make a adorable companion dog and don't require a lot of exercise but a lot of attention from my people would be good! I really enjoy my time with people and don't like being left alone for long, long periods of time; well, cuz I tend to miss my people! I am 1 of the delicate toy breeds so it would be best if children around me are at least 6yrs of age and understand that I need to be treated gently. We are people-oriented and my breed can be traced back some 2000yrs and we were a favored breed with many British and French aristocrats! No wonder, with our silky, white hair and the fact that we are hypoallergenic with low dander and low shedding. I will need to be brushed at least once or twice weekly to keep my coat free from mats and tangles and will need to be groomed every 6-8 weeks to keep my elegant appearance. But you know what I need most? My very own forever home! Please ask for me, Della!
