Edith was found stray in San Francisco and was held in the local shelter before making her way to the SPCA. She has been slightly nervous from all the recent transition but we hope to help her lose her worries and feel more comfortable. Edith's new adopters may need to help her to feel more confident and secure. Adopters should also read up on the personality traits of dachshunds as Edith will be playing the part once she feels at home. Though super lovable and fun, Dachshunds can be willful and stubborn at times. For the time being, Edith needs to go to a quieter home without kids. Edith weighs about seven pounds.
