Meet Keely, 29 months old Chow Chow
03/01/14- Meet Keely! She was rescued from a construction site where she was found with her leg ripped at the elbow. A great Samaritan took her to the veterinarian, paid for her leg amputation and helped her heal in his home. Keely may only have three legs but it does not slow her down 1 bit. Her indomitable spirit, zest for life, and positive, energetic attitude, can inspire anyone. If you want a wonderful companion dog, Keely would be happy to go home with you. She is quiet (though active), crate trained, housetrained, walks nicely on a ThunderLeash, and knows some obedience commands. She is curious and very playful. She rides quietly in the car but may need a boost up. She sleeps quietly in a crate all night and keeps it clean. She'd probably love to share your bed. While taking a break from the shelter for a few days, she lived with 4 other dogs, her size or larger. She also did well at the dog park with both small and large dogs. If you're looking for a brave pup who does not realize she has only three legs, please come and meet our darling Keely. She is patiently and hopefully waiting for her forever home. Give this little tripod a chance!
