Meet Lucy, 4 years old Boxer

Fun! That's me in a word. I'm a friendly, happy girl who's always looking for a great time being the center of attention! I was brought to BHS with my housemate because our previous guardian lost his home and we had nowhere to go. In fact, we were kept outside all the time - it was awful and something I never want to do again. Even though I came here with another dog, I would now like to be the only animal in my new home - no cats, dogs, rabbits or small animals. This way there's more love for me. I'm passionate about playing ball and also love Nyla bones. I'm craving a safe and loving forever home where we can go out for long walks and play. If you have children please bring them with you to meet me so they can fall in love with me as easily as you will. I did have surgery on 1 of my legs and am well now, but to prevent further problems I take a supplement to keep my knees in great working order. Sometimes my eyes get a little weepy, but it's not really a big deal - I just get some eye drops. I also am not able to go to a home with any type of electronic fencing surrounding it - some dogs are okay with this, but I am just not 1 of those dogs. Please stop by to meet me soon.
