Meet Maverick (D13-026), 13 months old Shiba Inu

His call sign is Maverick and this Top Gun has the "Big Personality" to go with his name! Maverick is a 1 year old, blonde/white, Shiba Inu/Siberian Husky mixture. He came to New Leash on Life from another shelter that was over crowded and just didn't have room to keep him. Since we knew we could help this cute boy find a forever home, we took him in and he's been telling us how grateful he is for that chance! You see, Maverick is a big talker - just come out to meet him and you'll see exactly what we mean! Maverick is also a big ole Love Bug and is super playful (especially with his toys)! It's a bit too early to determine if he's fully potty trained but we think he may be. Maverick hasn't been temperament tested with other dogs, although he seems to be happy when he sees the other canines. If you already have a dog, why don't you bring it to the Adoption Center and let them meet. You might end up making 2 dogs happy. We also offer a seven day trial "sleepover" where potential adopters can take a dog home to see how they acclimate in the new household before officially finalizing the adoption.
