Meet Roxie HW, 10 years old Rottweiler

If you're looking for a cute, laid back, and gentle companion to add to your family, you've found the right gal! Roxie is a 10-year old, med sized 63lb, Rottweiler mixture who was surrendered to a rural shelter and was fortunately rescued by BARK. She is incredibly easy going and absolutely loves human companionship. She thrives on attention and listens well. She was clearly loved in a former home, and we can't imagine how someone could give her up! Roxie walks well on a leash and simply enjoys exploring nature on long walks. She gets along well with other dogs, although she's not a fan of smaller dogs, and should not be in a home with small dogs, and probably not be placed in a home with cats. She's quickly become a volunteer favorite because of her gentle nature. We hope that a loving family will see her and recognize how much a senior dog has to offer. She deserves a warm, soft bed of her own and a place to call home again. She knows how to put the sunshine in everyday with her warm, loving smile. If you give her a chance, we're sure she'll enrich your life more than you could have imagined! Roxie tested positive for Heart worms in October, which is very treatable. The treatment process is about eight to 10 weeks for her. BARK will pay for the cost of treatment at our veterinarian.
