Meet Roxy, 14 months old Chinese Shar-Pei

ROXY IS IN FOSTER CARE!Roxy is a very well-manered, low key young lady. She is only one, but due to her rough start in life, she appears older. She came in as a stray, emaciated and bleeding. Her front legs were previously injured and healed over, and she moves a little slower due to the mild deformity. With time, good food, patience and some love she is slowly coming out of her shell and we're starting to see a the puppy dog hiding inside with a few more tail wags and moments of silliness each day. She is fattened up to 47 pounds and has a super silky beautiful coat! Roxy is an original couch potato and is content to curl up next to you all day, but she LOVES going for walks and perks up to flirt with the cute boy dog next door. She's is nice on the leash and is also enjoying basic training with her foster mom and knows sit and down. She has a very gentle disposition and is unreactive to dogs her size and larger, however she does NOT appear to like smaller dogs or pups. Cats are unknown.
