Meet Sugar, 29 months old Weimaraner
Sugar is a pup that truly lives up to her name. She's gone to three adoption events and loved everyone she met, including elementary school aged kids. Not only is she comfortable with people (hands to the face, ears, feet and hind quarters don't bother her at all), she craves human interaction (she will follow you from room to room or always want to sit beside you). Sugar is truly nice natured, she's willing to give complete strangers kisses. She is very obedient, but due to the unfortunate circumstances that brought her to BDRR she is still learning what's expected of her, she needs some patience and teaching. Despite being a juvenile she is still a little rambunctious and playful like a puppy. The simplest things make her happy, such as playing with a tennis ball or an antler to chew. Rarely in life can you have it all, but Sugar could really be the triple crown. She was born gorgeous and nice natured, she just needs someone to invest a few months of consistent TLC and Teaching (complete Heart worm treatment, basic commands and manners). Sugar has been around several dozen dogs at parks with no issues; in the home just watch around bones.I am looking for that special someone to adopt me and give me a forever home. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out the adoption application on-line or contact Big Dog Ranch Rescue (561) 309-XXXX or email: XXXX@bdrr.org.
