Shasta is 3/4 Great Pyrenees and 1/4 Anatolian Shepherd. He is 13 months old and is a full time livestock guardian on our small farm protecting our sheep and goats. He is fantastic at his job and takes keeping the predators away very seriously. He is very friendly towards people he knows and will bark at to alert us of strangers until we tell him its ok. He is great with other dogs and very playful. His only downside is he is not good with poultry or fowl. He would be best suited to guard larger livestock such as sheep, goats and cattle.
