He is very treat motivated so continued training will be easy with this fella!He is very smart and enjoys walks playing football or any ball for that matter. He is well trained and will let you know when it's potty time and doesn't have accidents in the house house! He also knows basic commands and will give you his paw and will sit when told … but there is a treat tax required for that!Edward is very loyal and will protect his humans! He loves to get affection and love dellHis humans and be wherever they are!Edward is learning to walk on a leash but will need more leash training as he’s likely never been on one. He will pull so a capable handler os recommended until he gains more leash etiquette.Edward is:* crate trained * house trained dog friendly with slow intros * very kid friendly* rides well in the car and can get in and out on his own Edward is very “talkative”at first but once he gets to know you he just melts your heart! He loves all the pets and cuddles and will do anything for attention!Edward would do best in a home with a fenced in yard where he can run and play whenever he pleases! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $725 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
