Cashew is a lovely, 3-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who is ready to brighten up your home with his gentle presence. Cashew is a bit cautious at first with new people, especially men, but warms up beautifully. He walks well on a leash and is fully house trained. He is mostly quiet! He’ll let you know if someone is at the door, but he does NOT bark excessively which is a rare gift in a small dog like this. Cashew is social with other dogs and would like to have friends or a small housemate he could play chase with. And OH, what a snuggle-bunny! He thoroughly enjoys belly rubs, being sung to, and generally being with his people. Cashew was surrendered by his previous owner along with 5 other small dogs. He would be an excellent addition to your loving home.
