Ivan-Norwegian Elkhound, male, ~ 6 yr. (March 2023)Contact XXXX@hotmail.com for application.Ivan was found himself in a sad situation. He lived on a rural farm in a small town area. His owner sold the farm and left the pets behind. The new owner can not keep the dogs and reached out to the local Humane Society. They asked us to help Ivan find a new home. He's looking for a fresh start on life. He is a very friendly dog with the volunteers who have been spending time with him. Ivan will need time to adjust and will need an experienced home. He has been living an outside kennel life so will need a refresher course in housetraining. Cats and other dogs as well as small children are an unknown. We believe he is purebred, but do not have any Registration papers. His adoption fee is $400 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
