This majestic, gorgeous and dignified creature is...Peanut. Unlike many of the same name, this Peanut isn't the size of a purse puppy (unless your carryall is the size of a cargo crate) or even a lap dog (unless you're in a bolted-down, steel-reinforced XL Laz-E-boy and don't mind 90 pounds of fur on your lap). However, as Alaskan Malamutes (likely a husky mix) were bred to haul heavy freight, we think this massive ginger dude could probably pull a sled with a couple thousand pounds of peanuts. Peanut may be a ripe 7 years old, but he's still VERY excited to meet you and needs a home where his mind and body will be kept active. Peanut loves people friends, but he needs to live with someone who is knowledgeable about his breed and their quirks and boundaries. Due to this, we're asking that anyone seriously interested in Peanut come meet him several times. Small kids wouldn't be a great fit and cats are a no-go. Meet and greets would be needed with any potential dog siblings. Peanut is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.
