Snow is our longest resident - she has been in the rescue for over two years and has not had ONE SINGLE FAMILY come to meet her! We can't understand it, because she is an amazing girl who will make someone so happy. She came to rescue after her young owner passed away tragically. Snow is a 3-year-old, 45 lb, DEAF Pitbull mix, UTD, spayed, microchipped, and house trained. Snow is doing well with her leash training and her crate training. Although this sweet girl is deaf, she doesnt know it's a thing and it certainly doesn't slow her down. Snow is high-energy and loves taking hikes and runs to channel her energy, and of course loves car rides. Snow's person was a teenager who unfortunately, tragically passed away, and her family was unable to keep her. Of course she was heartbroken over the loss of the one who loved her, but she greets each day with exuberance and is doing her best to be a good dog. She loves all people and is uncertain with dogs. She needs to be your one and only love! We have taught Snow some signals for communication and also use her leash as a communication tool. At the end of the day, Snow loves to cuddle and is such a love bug. She will come to you and put her head on you asking for love and pets and to let you know she loves you back. Please take a chance with this unique dog who has been overlooked. We will provide free training support to her new home to learn how to communicate with sign language and set her up for success. Please help our girl!Snow has to find her new forever home because the original owner, a young person, passed away and the family couldn't quite figure out how to navigate a deaf dog.
