My name is Buddy. I am ~5 years old and my life before rescue was not good. I was found chained in an abandoned home, left there to starve to detah. Lucily I was discovered by a kind human, who used bolt cutters to cut the heavy chain from my neck. And this is where my story takes a turn for the better. I was taken to the vet immediatley to address my condition and receive my services. I then landed in a medical foster home with humans who have showered me love and kindness and regular meals. I have proven to be a wonderful dog despite all I have been through. I have put on 21 pounds in 25 days and I am healing from my neuter and tail amputation. I am ready for my forever home. I do well with dogs and cats. I am a big boy and fairly active and would love a home with another large dog to play with. I am learning how to be a family dog and will need an adopter with patience, who can help me become the best version of myself. I LOVE my humans and well pretty much everyone.
