Meet Hooch! Hooch is an adorable Chiweenie mix. He's 1-2 years old and 9 lbs. Hooch's favorite activity is cuddling — he loves people, and wants to be as close to you as possible! Whether it's on the couch in your lap, in bed with his head resting on your neck, or curled up in your sweater with you, Hooch is truly one of the cuddliest dogs out there. Second to cuddling comes playing — Hooch loves toys and balls, ideally if you throw them but he can also entertain himself. Hooch is house-trained, crate-trained, and good on a leash. He can be a little anxious around new people, big dogs, and loud noises, but he learns and settles in quickly. He loves small dogs and is learning to make friends on his walks, no matter the size. Hooch had a dental cleaning as well as bloodwork at his vet visit. Hooch is loving, snuggly, and playful. He's ready to find his forever home and cuddle companion — anyone would be lucky to have him. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
