Meet Auggie! Auggie is a hound mix approximately 4 years old and 60lbs. Auggie is a super sweet and mellow boy. He lives in a foster home with a lot of other dogs, and does perfectly fine with them. He enjoys lounging on the couch both inside and outside. He loves to both soak up the sun and sprawl out in a nice shady spot in the yard. While sprawled out, he loves to roll over on his back for a good scratch. Auggie is kennel trained and has had no accidents in his kennel! He is very food motivated and a fast learner. He is a very low energy guy and would make an amazing companion! He has been observed dog friendly and even does good with the ducks in the yard! Auggie is a people-boy! He is dog friendly but prefers to be around calmer dogs- not wrestling all the time. He loves a good head scratch and to lay by your feet no matter where you go! Auggie isnt one who cares much for long walks or hikes, but does love a nice big yard to trot around in at his leisure. He does enjoy a nice scenic walk though! He wouldn’t make the best apartment dog as he does enjoy having a yard. Auggie is a very gentle and patient guy. He is shy at first but quickly warms up with lots of love and reassurance. Auggie is a curious but reserved guy and always looks back to make sure you are following. He has done amazing with everyone he has met so far! Auggie will make an amazing companion for anyone. Anyone would be lucky to adopt him!The cutest thing Auggie does, is when he gets excited outside, he will do summersault after summersault! He has such a goofy personality once he opens up to you! He is such a lovable guy and snuggles are his favorite. He doesn't like to get up on furniture unless helped or invited! Once he's up on the couch or bed he will curl up next to your side and snooze!
