Oh, Milo. This sweet boy has had quite a go of things. He was hit by a car back in April and was severely injured. He was picked up by one of our Animal Protection Officers who brought him to the shelter to save his life. Milo is lucky to have lived- he had significant wounds on his hindlimbs as well as fractures to his pelvis. At first, he wasn`t able to walk, so volunteers moved him around the shelter in a little wagon. In the time since, he has healed SO much, but he still has a way to go. Here`s the thing about Milo - through ALL of this pain and struggle, Milo has been the SWEETEST, most patient boy. He loves being around our staff and volunteers and is so easy and cooperative. He’s mostly stuck in bed for now, as he is recovering, but is eager to stand and play. He loves kisses, cuddles, and squishy snacks like peanut butter! But even more than those things, he’ll absolutely love YOU!Milo needs a foster who can help with physical therapy as he continues to heal. He is so sweet and promises to return your love and time with SO many kisses. If you`re interested in fostering Milo, please email XXXX@pima.gov or come to the shelter today!!
