Hi there, my name is Iris and I'm a 2-year-old German Shepherd on the lookout for my forever home! I'm a talkative pup who loves to express myself and always has something to say. If you're looking for a high-energy pup who will keep you on your toes, look no further! I'm always up for a good run and can keep up with even the quickest of paces.I may have a serious look, but don't let that fool you! I have a silly side and love to play. Just try to catch me if you can! My future family should also be prepared for lots of walks, as I love to explore and check out all the sights and smells.So, if you're looking for a pup who's always ready for a good time, with plenty of energy to spare, I'm your gal! I promise to keep you laughing and entertained for many years to come. Let's hit the pavement together!You can meet Iris or any of our other shelter dogs on Thursdays or Saturdays from 11AM-3PM for walk-ins. You can also schedule an appointment ahead of time and on other days via our adoption inquiry form at friendsofycas.org/dogsAll adoptable dogs are viewable at friendsofycas.org/dogs All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
