Oliver is about 5 years old and is now at a good weight at about 42 lbs. He overcame a lot of health challenges (ear infections, skin infections, tickborne infections) in his first 6 weeks in rescue and now he has received his all-clear after heartworm treatment and can return to regular activity. It's clear that Oliver had a rough life and had been neglected for a long time, but those days are behind him now and he is well on his way to a new life of health and comfort. We are so happy to show him how great life can be. Now that he is feeling better his zest for life is showing through. He LOVES walks and playing with other dogs. He is great with all people and children. He is a happy, sweet dog who does not know a stranger. Oliver's ideal home would be with other medium - large dogs that he can run and play and wrestle with. He has been fine with the small dogs in his foster home but we can tell he would love to bring his playing game to the next level with dogs more his size.If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an application.
