Coco is 10 years old and weighs 51 lbs. She’s friendly, has a calm temperament, and gets along well with other dogs. We got a call that there was a dog in active labor at a factory in Tijuana where she’d taken refuge during a storm. We rushed her back to BAS where she gave birth to 13 puppies. Sadly, only 4 survived. We also discovered that Coco had a rubber band embedded in her back leg. Although her wound is healed, she still has a slight limp which may possibly resolve with time.Coco has been through a lot, especially for a senior.
