Champ is an 11 year old gentleman who likes to take life slow. We don`t know much about Champ`s life prior to being picked up by ACS, but given the condition he was in, we can only assume that he probably spent most of his life living outside. Now that he`s gotten a taste of life resting on comfortable beds and blankets, and receiving treats and cuddles, he can`t get enough of it! Champ makes for the perfect TV/movie watching partner, as he`ll just quietly lay at your feet or next to you on the couch, simply happy to be there. Champ also makes for a great walking partner, as he`ll match your pace and only occasionally stop to sniff. He is unreactive to other dogs; in fact, he mostly ignores his four foster siblings. He has not been tested around cats, but he does seem curious about the stray cats seen on our walks. He is house trained, excellent on car rides, and has shown no destructive behavior. His favorite activities include sleeping and sunbathing. Even though he is a senior, Champ still has a pep in his step and just wants a second chance at life where he can spend his golden years getting the love we know he deserves!
