Katie has been a pretty easy foster. She transitioned from shelter in Bakersfield to a foster dog pretty happily. Katie has many good qualities but let me tell you the red flag here and nowShe is very much wants all the attention for herself. She and my own male have the same mindset but only one of me so I would recommend her as an only dog otherwise she will need to do a sleepover to see how she and current dog will do. She does seem to want a dog buddy since her best friend was adopted she seems to have chosen another little male named Benji also available as her buddy.Not that she can't get along with other dogs but it is difficult to keep them safe if she is not a fan of the other dog. I have 8 dogs total here and most are fosters. Katie is a bit witchy with my large female.Katie is a 3 year old female from Bakersfield. I pulled her because her photo was so sad. Katie does well with her potty, leash, car ride skills. Happy just to be with her person.Has been happy with kids around however they should be old enough to understand that if Katie has a treat, chew or toy that it is hers. IF toys are left on the ground they could become a dog toy. Hope not to scare you off because she is very loving and well behaved except for wanting me to herself. I would say a retiree, a family with older than 8 year aged kids, single adult wanting a loyal companion. Wanna meet Katie?
