About me: Hello I am Hope. I am HOPING to find my forever home (haha get it?) I'm good at telling jokes if you can't tell. I'm looking for a great person to come and adopt me. Ideally I would love a calm and quiet home since sometimes I get spooked by really loud noises. I am all smiles and have an overflow of love to give. Foster Testimonial: "Hope is the perfect dog...honestly shocked she hasn't been adopted, yet. She did well in the car, didn't cry or seem nervous. Very well on the leash in terms of pulling (I did have my dogs halter on her, which helps). She loves to stop and sniff just about everything, so someone needs to be very patient with her to not pull her, and leash train her over time when it's appropriate to sniff or when to walk. She got on my couch once which I immediately said, "no," and she didn't try again, so listens very well. She just wants to be with her human. She kept coming up to my desk and putting her face on my lap wanting attention. I didn't have her around other dogs, but I can see her as the only dog in the house as she really loves people. Knows sit and loves to sit for treats."Dogs: I have done well with all the dogs I have met. If you have dogs you can bring them and we can meet!Kids? Dogs over 6 months of age are also given a heartworm test (SNAP occult). Free week of training through Good Pup.
