We have an Adoption Application in place for potential Adopters to be completed. We also conduct Home Inspections as part of the approval process. Please email IDOHR for Adoption Fee on the specific dog of interest.IDOHR Board of Directors has the sole responsibility for approving all adopters and fosters. IDOHR does not adopt to out-of-state or out-of-country adopters. All adopters and fosters must live in the state of California and complete an adoption or foster application and contract. Refusal to do so is the reason to be denied for adopting or fostering. IDOHR pays for all the dog's medical needs, spay, vaccinations, microchip, collars, food, leash, bed, and any other required dog needs. The rescue provides for all of this anything purchased outside of the rescue must be approved by the board of directors prior to purchase or services.
