This charming rat terrier/corgi mix may seem a bit reserved at first, but give her just a moment, and she'll show you her true colors – full of love, playfulness, and plenty of quirky charm! Tammy is the epitome of a gentle soul with a heart of gold. While she may take a moment to warm up to new faces, once she feels comfortable, she'll shower you with endless affection and loyalty. Her shy demeanor only adds to her irresistible charm, making her the perfect companion for someone who appreciates the quiet moments as much as the playful ones. She is about a year old and was found as a stray, likely dumped, with her mom, sister, and younger siblings. She is currently about 16 lbs and she gets along great with other dogs but prefers dogs small to medium size. The bigger dogs make her a little nervous. She’s working on potty training and needs some practice on leash walking. She likes having a safe spot like her own crate or bed to call her own. It didn’t take her long to get comfortable in her foster home especially with lots of pets. She loves a good puppy massage! Tammy is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $195 local or $395 out of state with transport. An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites.
