Jester has been spent a few weekends in a foster home and they absolutely loved him! This is some of what his foster dad had to say! "Jester would be well suited for an active family that loves to walk or go on hikes. He loves up close and in your face cuddles, and is such an affectionate boy. He never had an accident in the house and only touched his own toys, his favorite being his red stuffed lobster. Jester loves to snooze on the couch but is ready to go again if he hears you rustling around. He is a very respectful boy that just wants to be a part of whatever you're doing!"Jester is all about having fun! He is outgoing, playful and has a big heart who he is eager to share with anyone. He is looking for an owner who wants a rough and tumble kind of dog and has the time to work on his training. He is smart and looks at you with those big brown eyes wanting to know what you have in store for him next. He is young both in age and at heart and is looking forward to having a big yard to romp around in. Jester is doing great with his leash training, enjoys his time at playgroup with his friends, and playing fetch with his favorite volunteers. Regular Adoption Fees for dogs start at $100, puppies at $125 and cats/kittens at $65 unless otherwise noted in the pet’s description. Dog & Cat Adoption Fees Include:•Spay or Neuter surgery•Initial Vaccination for Dogs (Parvo/Distemperment & Bordatella) and Cats (Rhino/Distemper)•24 Pet watch microchips, which includes free online registration to update your pet's contact information•General well health exam•If you choose to accept, your newly adopted dog or cat comes with 30 days of pre-paid pet health insurance, for which you can purchase extended coverage. All dogs, puppies, cats and kittens are mandatorily spayed or neutered and microchipped before they leave for their new homes. Surgery is scheduled at the time of adoption and done Monday-Friday only, excluding holidays. For example, if you adopt a dog or cat on Monday it would go for surgery on Tuesday. You would then pick up your new pet Tuesday afternoon between the hours of 4:30-5:30pm. Surgery is subject to availability on the surgery roster.
