Lobo is a lab mix between 8 to 12 months old. He uses his mouth when he first meets you and gets very excited to have company. But he settles down quickly and asks for you to be his playmate while your visiting. Lobo is very smart and appears to learn very quickly. He loves to go for walks and doesn’t pull on the lead. When it’s time for him to return to his kennel he likes to have a stuff animal to cuddle with. He does get frightened by thunderstorms and stays snuggled in his bed with his stuffed animal. I think he would fit into a family with children over 12 who would be his best friend(s). He will make a great family dog and be a loyal companion for life. Please come and meet Lobo along with all his shelter friends.Adoption processWe charge $85 to adopt a cat or dog. We have the following criteria for placing animals: Dogs need a fenced yard and are not to be chained or left outdoors 24 - 7. We encourage annual vet visits, and we do follow-up phone calls to see how the family and animal are doing. We don't adopt cats to homes where they will be outdoors or if they are to be de-clawed. All animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on shots. Cats are given a felv test, which is included in our adoption price.Shelter locationWe are open by appointment at the convenience of the volunteer and the people looking for an animal.
