Dessa is a 3.5-year old gorgeous dog who cannot wait to be in a home where her German Shepherd traits of intelligence, loyalty and close bonding with her people will be appreciated. Dessa is a social girl in the shelter playgroups where her favorite style of play is chase play. She was found as a stray so, unfortunately, we don't have any information about her previous life. She does keep a clean kennel at the shelter, holding it to potty outside, which is an excellent indicator that she is housebroken. Since getting to the big, loud shelter, Dessa has been very shy and will need a family that is able to allow her to decompress in a home. Dessa will need some time to settle in before she starts blossoming into her true, amazing GSD personality. Dessa is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and ready to go home with you! Her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
