Leah is an 6-years-old Labrador Retriever mix, maybe even Hound and Shepherd, who weighs 60 pounds. This girl lives for love. She deserves an adopter committed to making the second half of her life make her forget about the first half. Leah was surrendered by her owner to a shelter when she was heavily pregnant. Upon veterinary evaluation, this poor girl was in distress. An emergency c-section was performed, but her puppies did not survive. The hard start to her life and brush with death, did not define this sweet pup. Leah’s ideal adopter will let her live a quiet life, basking in your presence. She enjoys a walk, but spends a majority of her time relaxing near her people. Leah is low maintenance. Her foster mom says Leah would follow her off a cliff - she is that devoted. Leah lives harmoniously with kids and canines. She is crate trained, puts her business where it belongs outside, walks nicely on a leash, and rides well in a car. Leah is the total package despite her prior circumstances. Only adoring adopters need apply. Leah has spent enough time being 2nd rate, it’s her turn to shine!
