Pro Heart InJection due on 11/1/2024 Rainie is a sweet older girl who loves to play fetch, go for walks and ride in the car. She is doggy door trained and will also bark at you to let her out if she wants company. Rainie gets along with her foster siblings and the cat. She is good with respectful children. Rainie should be in a home with another dog as she gets lonely and bored when by herself. She does like to turn over trash cans when left alone too long and if toilet paper is accessible she will tear it up. Rainie loves her food and if she finishes before the other dogs she will try to take theirs. She just needs to be monitored. She loves to sleep in the big bed with everyone. Rainie can do steps but much prefers ramps. She likes to nap wherever her human and foster siblings are She is a sweet loving girl and has a lot of spunk for her age she will run and play and then nap. She doesn’t like to cuddle but loves to be petted and loved on. She would be a great addition to any household. To help us cover those expenses, on November 1, 2004 our adoption fee will increase to $250, and puppies under 1 year of age will be $300. 1.) Complete our online ADOPTION APPLICATION at (www.ctdr.org/phpform/forms/application.html) and list the names of all the dogs you're interested in. If you don't currently see a dog that matches your family, please tell us more about what you're looking for. We have new dogs weekly and will contact you if a dog comes in that meets your requirements. Don't forget to list the name and number of your current veterinarian and landlord, if applicable! We will contact your current vet, landlord and personal references, if needed. 2.) After we receive your application, we'll contact you to discuss the specifics of what you're looking for. We will try to contact you within 3-7 days, but we are all volunteers and have full time jobs, so be patient with us! 3.) Once we have completed all reference checks, we will schedule a home visit where someone from our organization will come to your home and meet you and your family and any pets you currently have.4.) Finally, we will schedule a time when your family and pet(s) can meet your desired rescue dachshund. If a long transport is involved, we ask the potential adopter to arrange the transportation of the dog.
