Meet Vader, a precious 2-year-old pup weighing 47 pounds. Vader is a charming black with white "terrier mix and American pit bull terrier" who found himself at the Prince George's County Animal Shelter as a stray. Luckily a foster stepped up at the last minute and saved him from euthanasia. Despite his imposing name, Vader is anything but a villain – he's a sweetheart through and through! This calm and slightly shy boy warms up quickly, especially when it's time for a walk. He walks well on a leash, occasionally pulling when he's eager to explore. Vader's interactions with other dogs have been timid but nonaggressive, demonstrating his friendly nature. Vader's affectionate demeanor extends to humans, as he eagerly offers kisses and enjoys snuggling up close. With his gentle demeanor and love for companionship, Vader would thrive in a variety of homes.
