Meet Chardonnay! This gorgeous girl is patiently waiting to go to her new forever home. She is a shy girl who may take some time to warm up to new people but we have found some yummy treats and a little playtime helps her come around to show her lovely personality. She may need some extra time to acclimate to her new home and hopes her new owners will advocate for her in any new situations where she may feel a little unsure. Due to her shy nature she must meet any children in the home prior to adoption and will do best in a home with older, mature children that will respect her boundaries, although she may prefer an adult-only home. She isn't one for loud parties or large gatherings, but enjoys a quiet night in with family. Once settled in Chardonnay gets a kick out of playtime with her favorite people. She will run and bound with you as well as chase her favorite fun toys. At the end of a big day she would be happy to lay next to you on the couch or at your feet for a movie night. She hopes you might even share your movie snacks with her. Chardonnay is enjoying some quiet time away from the shelter in a foster home. Her foster reports that she is coming out of her shell every day and beginning to build trust and confidence. Chardonnay's foster says she is a real joy: very laid back, quiet, sweet and smart! Chardonnay was fearful when meeting other dogs here at the shelter so she would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Does she sound like the perfect addition to your family? Ask to meet her today!
