My name is Dixie and let me tell you, I'm working really hard to be the best dog I can be. I came to HSHC because my owner decided they didn't want me. That was a real blow to my confidence, as you can imagine. But the staff at HSHC have really brought me out of my shell. They tell me I'm a smart, sweet girl, and that I'm deserving of love. After being abandoned, I'm finally starting to trust again. I enjoy being petted and loved on, and I really like chicken jerky treats. I'm ready to find my forever family and if you have other pups in the home I'd be eager to meet them!
