Hello everyone, my name is Irene! What is yours? I am a very sweet girl who loves to meet new people! I do not have too much interest in toys, but sometimes I get in the mood to chew on a rubber kong toy while I relax. I absolutely love to cuddle with people, and I love to give hugs! I hope you enjoy hugs too because I give them to everyone I meet! I love to just hang out on the couch next to my people, and I love being pet and loved on all over, especially my belly! I can sometimes be mouthy when you play with my face, but I am very gentle about it. I very much enjoy treats, and I try to be very gentle when taking them, but sometimes I can't contain my excitement and get a little chompy. I will need your help teaching me what is and isn't ok! I love paying attention to my handler, so if you want to teach me any tricks or basic house manners, I will be all ears! I am a very calm dog, and I do not get too excited when meeting dogs, I would much rather be with my humans than with other dogs, but if you have any dogs at home I would be happy to meet them and make sure we are a good fit. I would be a great couch potato, I do not like being outside all that often. I would do best in a home with older children, probably around 15 years or older. Overall I am a very friendly girl who is ready to find my forever home! If you are interested in seeing if I could be the one, please come on down to the shelter! I will be eagerly waiting!
