Gracie has the most soulful, sweet eyes and when she looks at you, it seems that she is begging to go to a home rather than be in a kennel. Gracie is a black and white, 3 year old, pit bull who was originally adopted from our shelter and then abandoned in her home. Luckily, she made her way back to us to try to find another home. Gracie did come in with a house friend (beagle mix) that was quickly adopted, but here she stays. This girl walks wonderfully on leash, loves other dogs, and is the biggest "lap" dog that you could find. So, why does she stay on our adoption floor? We ask the same questions for dogs like Gracie.Gracie is heartworm positive and did not receive treatment when she was adopted. However, Paws 4 Purpose does provide assistance with treatment!
