On the run for quite awhile, a trap and determination finally snagged Dixie. She stayed with her saviors for several weeks enjoying the company of a toddler, the resident dog and cats. Although it cannot be 100% confirmed, Dixie may in fact be deaf, or have diminished hearing, most likely from untreated ear infections. She can be calm around all the new people, but she takes a liking to most everyone quickly and tries to climb up to give kisses. Dixie looks to be a great catch for a family that will work with her to solidify her housebreaking skills, take her in daily walks and provide for her moderate needs for the rest of her life.
