From his foster family: Lorenzo came into our lives as a very sick and weak baby. He was diagnosed with some joint/developmental disorders that caused him to be non-ambulatory for a while, but he's since been treated and has been doing wonderful. He's our first ever foster and without a doubt, we can say he's the best puppy we could've chosen to become a temporary family member. He's sweet, loving, smart, obedient, he loves to cuddle but somehow you can barely feel his presence in bed at night because he stays pretty still and doesn't take up too much room. He loves toys -- he's always carrying one around and he loves bringing it to his foster sister to play tug-a-war with her. Lorenzo is only about 1 year old and his ideal home has another young playful pup. Lorenzo was surrendered to our care after being immobile & sick for a few days. He was left untreated in his own backyard. We had a volunteer pick him up and take him to the ER where he was diagnosed with developmental diseases (IMPA & HOD, basically diseases/swelling of the bones & joints most often seen in fast-growing puppies of the large/giant breeds). He has been cleared of any medical issues and is doing just fine, so we hope that doesn't scare any potential adopters away. He's the best boy!
