Frosty is a beautiful one- year old female Labrador Retriever mix who was brought to the HSOV on February 22, 2024 who found her on Veto Road in the Belpre Ohio area. Frosty was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped. This delightful young lady has a fawn/tan-and-white medium-haired coat, a long fluffy tail, and an adorable face with expressive brown eyes, a black/chocolate brown nose, and short tan floppy ears. Frosty currently weighs 58 lbs but isn't a very large girl when you see her in person. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Frosty was held for three days so that her family would have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership. Surprisingly, nobody called or came looking for this little sweetheart. UPDATE: Frosty was in foster care for approximately one week but was returned because she was chasing wildlife (deer in particular) ... so she would need to be in a home where she would be safely monitored or where she would not be tempted to 'go hunting'. Her foster family reported that she was good with other dogs and also with cats. Frosty is also good with children. Frosty will be spayed in the near future and will soon be ready to find a fabulous home. These updated photos were taken on March 12, 2024 when HSOV Kennel Tech Emily Beaver spent time with Frosty on a sunny afternoon and helped her with glamour pictures.
