Last weekend, ECAC got a call about 3 dogs living in an old semi trailer in Watson. Upon arrival, ECAC staff could tell they had been dumped. They were absolutely terrified and in fight or flight mode. I mean, who can blame them? Their whole world had been turned upside down. Since being at the shelter, they have opened up to staff but are still a little leary on who to trust. They will need adopters with lots of time and patience to show them that not all humans are bad. We are guessing them to be Belgium Malanois/Bull Terrier mixes around 10 months to a year old. They are sweet pups that just need a little TLC. They don't seem to mind other dogs at the shelter, but do show interest in chasing cats. We are unsure how they are with children at this time but would recommend a home with older children. Their adoption fees are $130. They will come current on their age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested and neutered/spayed.If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lumi, please reach out to the adoption group directly.
