Max was rescued from a high-kill shelter where he was dumped by a family member after his owner passed away. This poor guy lost his owner, then lost his home. As a natural guardian dog, Max becomes protective of "his person" so would do best in a home that is experienced with his breed. Max is active, enjoys playing, and loves going on long walks.
