My name is Harley and if you thought my smile meant that I’m a very sweet girl, you’d be absolutely correct! I’ve had some pretty rough times in my life – I was found tied to a fence in the heat and then was almost euthanized at a shelter. I guess they didn’t notice how friendly and snuggly I am! Despite my past, I am a very sweet and cuddly dog. My ideal day would be waking up in bed with my people or person, getting some snuggles, giving some morning kisses, having my breakfast, and then going outside to play. I like playing with my bones, and my toys, and going outside on walks and to the park. I’m house-trained, crate-trained, and I even know some fun tricks like sit, down, off, and shake. I’m spayed and up to date on all of my shots and flea/heartworm preventatives. I’ve done pretty well with other friendly dogs, but I would also do well as an only dog. My foster people say that their favorite thing about me is how open I am to love, even after everything that I’ve been through. While my favorite thing in the world might be treats (especially bacon treats), my second favorite thing is definitely people! I love snuggling with people and kissing people and playing with people and just everything about them! Some people have been pretty bad to me in my past, but I choose to only remember the ones who loved me and helped me on my journey.
