Silk was surrendered by her owner with her brother and their 3 pups in order for them to have a better life. Silk arrived completely unsocialized and terrified of life. ​She is EXTREMELY nervous and nippy and barky around new people and new dogs and it takes her several days to get used to them. She will hide and avoid strangers, but if threatened, she will bark and bite. Silk desperately needs patience, time, and positive reinforcement training and socialization to help her become a happy, confident dog. She will be required to attend obedience classes with a certified (CPDT) trainer, but her adopters might be better off starting with private training.
