Gypsy is new to MAD rescue and as we get to know her, we will update more information about her. Her initial evaluator says: Gypsy would be a good low to med drive pup for a first time Mal owner who has experience with other dogs particularly working breeds. She would need a handler that will be able to be firm but not overly harsh in corrections. She is young and likely would need some sort of placement where she can learn to play and interact with humans and other pups. Other dogs are ok with proper introductions and proper supervision, She is environmentally neutral and great with new and unusual things. She would likely be ok with a dog savvy cat but would likely give chase. No ducks or chickens. She has the potential to be an amazing agility or FASTCAT pup. Overall she has a very sweet personality and would make someone a fantastic velcro dog given time and patience.All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and one-year subscription. We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
