NAME: Poppy BREED: Pit Bull Mix BIRTHDAY: 2023 WEIGHT: 25lbs ADOPTION FEE: $250 Well, we've done it again! Our little senior rescue decided to take in a puppy. With Kyle looking to remain a permanent resident, we figured: Why not? And so here's Poppy, sweet and cuddly and a Wrestlemania partner for Kyle. â Poppy came to use from a small rural shelter in NC. We had pulled two lovely beagles from them and were happy to work with them again to save one more. Poppy was just like her videos- nervous but sweet and eager to make new dog friends. She's not sure about people just yet (although she absolutely loves her foster mom and is a constant shadow/snuggle buddy), but doesn't have a mean bone in her. She just needs some time to get to know new human friends, and will absolutely need at least one dog companion to show her that people are nice. Poppy does well with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, but will thrive in a home where she can have a buddy to wrestle and play with. She is very friendly with and respectful of cats and has had positive interactions with children. We are working on house training but, as with most everything else, the dog pack is helpful in getting her into a routine. â Poppy is fully vetted and ready for a forever home!
