One day in May Rooney took off for a sniff and got lost! He'd love a new forever home to hang his leash, although we're pretty sure he was crossing his fingers when he said he wouldn't try to follow his nose again. Rooney is a little on the shy side, but if you baby talk this sweet guy, he'll be like putty in your hand. Rooney is looking for a little love after a rough first couple of years. He is a goofy, curious boy who never gets tired of exploring! After a good hike or walk, Rooney loves to flop down in the grass and roll over for a good belly rub session.Rooney does seem to have a high prey drive with outdoor animals (birds, squirrels) and could possibly be an escape artist so keeping an eye on this boy is important! He can be a bit anxious in the car, but training staff can happily give you some tips on how to help him feel more calm. With a little patience and understanding, this boy is sure to blossom into the dog he truly is.Rooney is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and ready to meet his forever family!
