Charlie was a stray brought to the shelter when he was just a little guy. He got adopted, but was then shuffled around to someone else who gave him lots of love and attention, but he passed away so Charlie ended up back at the shelter. He had access to a doggy door and a fence back yard, so did not have accidents in the house, but would need a refresher on house manners if no doggy door. He is smart and likes to learn, so obedience training would benefit him greatly. He is friendly with other dogs and does go out in a play group with like-sized dogs. He has not been around small children so we don't know how he feels about them. If you're looking for a good companion and willing to put in a little work, Charlie might be the dog for you.
