Hi there, my name is Lucky. I am an easygoing boy who enjoys all the fun things in life, like car rides, climbing, fetch, running, toys, tug-of-war, walks, and playing in water! When I'm not playing, I like to hide myself away for some quiet time, or if you're around, I'd love to snuggle up in your lap and chill out for a bit. People describe me as a lap loving, social butterfly, who can be active, playful, and curious! I know "sit," "lay down," "come," "off," and "shake." I am housetrained and will whine at the door if I need to go outside, but please don't hold me to that standard until I am fully comfortable in your home and review the 3x3x3 adoption rule. I have lived with birds, dogs, and hamsters before, but not kitty cats! If you'd like, the shelter can do a cat test to see how I do with kitty cats. I will need a meet and greet with any two- or four-legged family members in the home since it is policy at SHS. I get along with other dogs in playgroup but can be fearful and cautious of some. It depends on what furry friend I am meeting! I was brought to SHS with my mom, Sky. She has been adopted so now I am awaiting a forever home of my own. I was with my previous owner and mom for my whole life, so would love time to adjust once adopted. But I am sure I will make you my best friend and get you wrapped around my pinky-paw, just you wait!
